Job summary

Nicklaushealth seeks an Occupational Therapist to evaluate, develop, and implement care plans for pediatric patients in Palm Beach Gardens. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, interdisciplinary collaboration, and clear documentation of progress and outcomes.

You will supervise patients from infancy through early childhood, participate in team meetings, and maintain licensure and CEUs while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Florida OT license or provisional OT license required.
• American Heart Association BLS - active and in good standing.
• Finger printing background check and Good Moral Character affidavit within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Participates in interdisciplinary/multidisciplinary meetings related to patient care.
• Maintains and documents productivity as required by leadership.
• Records daily patient documentation, statistics, and charges accurately and promptly.
• Ensures documentation reflects evidence-based practices.
• Improves access to care for patients served.
• Conducts evaluations and provides recommendations based on findings.
• Maintains communication with patients and caregivers about progress and home programs.
• Develops a plan of care with measurable goals and needed supports.
• Provides treatments based on medical and functional findings.
• Prepares patient/family for discharge when appropriate.
• Maintains CEUs and licensure to ensure clinical excellence.
