Job summary

North Shore Pediatric Therapy in Glenview, IL is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to provide in-clinic evaluations and individualized treatment plans for children with diverse needs.

You’ll work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary setting with SLPs, PTs, BCBAs, and mental health professionals, delivering calendar-appropriate therapy and family coaching to promote independence in ADLs and play skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and Illinois state license in good standing.
• Experience or strong interest in pediatrics, including ADLs, daily routines, play, and feeding.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, and walk regularly; lift up to 45 lbs.
• Adequate vision and hearing for written and verbal communication; comfortable in moderate noise.

Responsibilities

• Design and administer treatment programs to increase independence in ADLs, routines, play, and feeding.
• Make cross-referrals to other disciplines as needed.
• Address executive functioning, attention, and fine/gross motor coordination.
• Create home programs and coach families to implement them.
• Collaborate with doctors, teachers, and pediatric specialists for coordinated care.
• Maintain detailed progress notes and adjust treatment plans as needed.
