Job summary

ProSource in Sugar Land, TX is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our therapy team. You will work with Occupational Therapists and other assistants to deliver therapy in home and community settings, following established plans of care and using adaptive devices.

Ideal candidates have strong time management, excellent customer service, and knowledge of occupational therapy guidelines, with a focus on helping pediatric and young adult patients achieve functional

Qualifications

• Must hold state OTA license
• Experience in occupational therapy setting preferred
• CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Provides high quality care by implementing therapy plans with the supervising OT
• Assists pediatric and young adult patients in physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development
• Educates and coaches caregivers to carry over activities at home
• Designs and instructs home exercise programs after discharge
• Documents patient care in electronic medical records
• Maintains patient confidentiality
