Job summary

Playabilities for Sensational Kids is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support our therapy teams in Lenexa, KS. You will work under the supervising OT to implement individualized, play-based treatment plans that foster skill development and independence for children with neurodevelopmental needs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in occupational therapy, preferably pediatric.
• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy required; COTA licensure in Kansas.
• BLS certification required; professional liability coverage preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist OTR/L in implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Help children develop fine motor, sensory processing, emotional regulation, and self-care skills.
• Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary team to support goals.
• Maintain a play-based, neuro-affirming approach aligned with clinic values.
