Job summary

Associates in Pediatric Therapy (APT) is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join a therapist-led team dedicated to helping kids shine. Under supervision of an Occupational Therapist, you will support sessions, document progress, and contribute to individualized care plans in a supportive, clinician-led environment.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree from an accredited program in Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Solid understanding of pediatric occupational delays and treatments.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Document treatment details, duration, and progress per plan of care.
• Carry out therapy plans to meet diverse patient needs and goals.
• Educate patients and families about self-care and daily activities.
• Report progress to families and medical staff as required.
• Collaborate with parents and other therapists in sessions as needed.
• Refer patients for additional services when appropriate.
