Job summary

Achieve Beyond is seeking dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants to join our New York City team, working with children and families in homes, clinics, and community settings. We provide evaluations and ongoing services across NYC, Hudson Valley, Long Island, Albany, and surrounding areas.

You will collaborate with a supportive team, receive supervision from clinical staff, and participate in a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401k.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children and families.
• Valid NYS OTA License.
• Self-motivated team player who exercises patience and professionalism.
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric therapy services and/or evaluations to children birth-21 years in natural settings.
• Educate families and caregivers on intervention strategies to facilitate involvement and carry-over.
• Work in diverse settings such as client homes, daycare centers, preschools, clinics, and other community settings.
• Follow the individualized therapy plan and plan for ongoing treatment while documenting progress.
• Prepare progress reports as indicated.
• Maintain child records and confidentiality of information in accordance with HIPAA and state/federal regulations; submit records within established timelines.
