Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active North Carolina COTA license, or eligibility for licensure.
• Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Passion for working with pediatric clients.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality pediatric occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Assist children in developing fine motor, sensory, self-help, and functional skills.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with supervising therapists and families.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation.
