Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Measure and fit patients for appropriate orthoses.
• Fabricate orthoses for inpatients and outpatients.
• Evaluate patient needs per physician prescription and apply anatomy knowledge.
• Cast and measure for orthoses including complex devices.
• Modify casts and prepare materials for final application.
• Repair and alter orthoses to ensure proper fit and function.
• Instruct patients and families on care and use of devices.
• Assist in clinics to measure/cast for orthoses.
