Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of Orthoptist experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; two-year orthoptic program preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and infection control techniques.
• Ability to adapt in a changing environment and promote teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and treat binocular vision and ocular motility disorders.
• Examine patients, diagnose conditions, and determine fusion status.
• Triages patients when ophthalmology is unavailable and organize vision screenings in schools.
• Collaborate with ophthalmology team to provide high-quality pediatric eye care.
