Job summary

Shriners Children’s Hospital seeks a skilled Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) for its pediatric orthopedic outreach clinic in Medford, Oregon. This 0.75 FTE role provides specialized orthopedic care to children in Southern Oregon, collaborating with Shriners Portland surgeons.

The position requires a minimum of three years as an APP, with pediatric orthopedics or sports medicine experience preferred. Telehealth preoperative coordination and local postoperative follow-up support are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of advanced practice experience.
• Experience in orthopedics, pediatrics, sports medicine, or related specialty preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and family-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive health assessments and physical exams for pediatric patients.
• Develop differential diagnoses and care plans with supervising physicians.
• Manage preoperative and postoperative care and fracture management.
• Order and interpret imaging and lab tests within scope of licensure.
• Prescribe medications per scope and participate in multidisciplinary clinics.
