Job summary

Shriners Children's is seeking a skilled Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) to join our pediatric orthopedic outreach clinic in Medford, Oregon. This 0.75 FTE role offers outpatient orthopedic care to children in Southern Oregon, working with a mission-driven pediatric orthopedic team.

The provider will collaborate with Shriners Children's Portland surgeons, perform evaluations, pre/post-operative care, and coordinate patient care with telehealth and local visits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of advanced practice experience.
• Experience in orthopedics or pediatrics preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Ability to work in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical exams for pediatric patients.
• Formulate differential diagnoses and develop care plans with supervising physicians.
• Manage care for orthopedic, spinal, and neuromuscular pediatric patients.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative evaluations and follow-up in outpatient settings.
• Order and interpret diagnostic imaging, labs, and other tests as allowed by licensure.
