Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery Clinic in La Crosse, WI. This day shift outpatient role offers collaboration with an experienced team in a fast-paced setting.

You will care for pediatric patients, support multiple subspecialties, and participate in pre- and post-operative coordination, with no weekend or on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Active RN license to practice in Wisconsin required.
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience.
• Strong communication, organizational and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a busy orthopedic clinic, focusing on pediatric patients.
• Support pediatric orthopedic subspecialties including trauma, hand, shoulder, and total joint services.
• Perform phone triage and patient education.
• Manage EPIC in-basket workflows and MyChart communications.
• Assist with pre-operative and post-operative care coordination.
• Assist with pre-operative and post-operative appointments.
• Perform wound care and suture removal.
