Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Pediatrics OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Columbia, Missouri. The right RN will have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and will work a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week, on a 10-hour day shift.

Responsibilities include assisting with positioning, providing OR care, documenting patient history, assessing allergies, vital signs, and monitoring patient well-being throughout the procedure.

Qualifications

• RN with pediatric OR experience preferred.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience required.
• Travel nurse assignment readiness and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist with moving and positioning of patient.
• Manage care of the patient in the OR per hospital policy.
• Document medical history, allergies and vital signs.
• Monitor patient safety and anesthesia-related signs during procedure.
