Children's of Alabama is seeking a Staff Nurse I for the Operating Room at Main Campus in Birmingham. The role provides professional nursing care for surgical patients and families with minimal supervision, emphasizing safety, teamwork, and compassionate patient care.

Day shift, Monday-Friday 6:45am-3:15pm with call; full-time. The Staff Nurse I collaborates with surgeons, anesthesiologists, CNAs and other OR team members to deliver high-quality perioperative care in a teaching hospital setting.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited School or Nursing
• Current Alabama Registered Nurse License required
• Current BLS Certification required
• Basic Life Support

Responsabilidades

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care of surgical patients in the Operating Room.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurse anesthetists, circulating nurses and scrub personnel to provide safe perioperative care.
