Job summary

Advocate Health’s Carolinas Medical Center Pediatric Operating Room in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for a five‑month OR residency. This program targets nurses with at least six months of nursing experience who want to transition into the operating room, with no prior OR experience required.

You will provide and coordinate patient care using the nursing process, applying evidence-based practice, and ensuring a safe, compassionate environment for children and their families.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• RN license issued by the state of practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association.
• This five-month residency is designed for RNs with at least six months of nursing experience; no prior OR experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
