Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for OR for a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity allows nurses to apply for their passion in nursing and being in the OR.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN License required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Must have American Heart Associtation Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification preferred.
• CNOR highly preferred.
• Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to pediatric patients within the operating room.
• Performs assessments and interventions to keep patients safe during surgery.
• Assists physician in the plan of care and ensures continuity between patient care unit and OR.

BSN degree

2-year RN experience in OR (Peds)

Critical thinking

Strong patient assessment

American Heart Association BLS certification

ACLS certification

PALS certification (preferred)

CNOR preferred
