Job summary

Nemours Children's Health in Delaware seeks an experienced perioperative RN for the operating room. The role is 30 hours in 2 weeks, 1845-0715, with weekend, call and holiday requirements.

You will deliver safe, family-centered care in the OR and collaborate across Nemours Children’s Health sites to optimize resources and patient outcomes. The position requires active Delaware or compact RN license, BLS; PALS within six months and ACLS within one year.

Qualifications

• Active Delaware or compact RN license required.
• BSN preferred; if Associate's degree then willing to pursue BSN within 3 years.
• Current American Heart Association BLS required; PALS within 6 months; ACLS within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, patient-family centered care in the operating room.
• Collaborate with Nemours Children’s Health, Surgery Center teams to optimize resources and outcomes.
• Provide perioperative nursing care across patient populations in the OR.

Nemours is seeking an experienced OR nurse for the Operating Room!

Position is FULL-TIME, 60 hours per 2 weeks, 1845-0715, with weekend, call and holiday requirements.

The role of the Perioperative RN is to be responsible for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the operating room for all patient populations.This primary position at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware, will include collaboration with the Nemours Children’s Health, Surgery Center, Malvern, PA and the Nemours Children’s Health, Surgery Center, Deptford, NJ to optimize available resources in achieving optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

• BSN Preferred ; if have Associate's degree must be willing to get BSN within three years
• Active Delaware or compact RN license required
• Current American Heart Association BLS required; PALS within six months; ACLS within one year
• Must apply for NJ and PA license is not already obtained or covered by compact license within six months
