Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• RN license in DC/MD/VA required depending on location.
• BLS certification required.
• 2 years OR experience; 1 year Pediatric OR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intraoperative patient care with the healthcare team.
• Serve as liaison to patients, families, and operating room staff.
• Prepare the operating room for procedures; assemble equipment and implants; ensure availability.
• Deliver perioperative patient care and adhere to policies and documentation standards.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and unit governance.
• Mentor orientee and ensure practice aligns with standards.
