Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a RN specialized in Pediatric Operating Room for an urgent 8-week contract in San Diego, CA. Shifts are 4x10-hour blocks with day or night options, with weekend and holiday rotation and on-call responsibilities.

A strong pediatric general surgical background is highly preferred. The role requires an active California RN license, BLS and PALS, and at least 2 years of nursing experience, including pediatric OR exposure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years RN experience; pediatric OR exposure preferred (6 months in pediatrics).
• Active California RN license; state license pending accepted if ETA provided.
• BLS (AHA) and PALS (AHA) required.
• Ability to work 4x10-hour shifts with weekend/holiday rotation.
• Willingness to take call shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Urgent start for an 8-week contract in the Pediatric OR.
• Shifts scheduled as 4x10-hour blocks with flexible start times.
• Nurses will float within their scope to meet facility needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across pediatric surgical services.
• Adhere to infection prevention protocols and universal safety measures.
