Join Cincinnati Children's as an Operating Room & Critical Care Pharmacist at Burnet Campus in Cincinnati, OH. This full-time role supports the operating room and critical care pharmacy services, with duties spanning medication orders, IV preparations, chemotherapy handling, and providing drug information to the healthcare team.

Candidates must hold a PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and be licensed in Ohio, or eligible for licensure within three months.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD Degree required.
• Pharmacist license in Ohio or eligibility within 3 months of hire required.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate medication orders based on weight, allergies, and compatibilities; record in patient profile and ensure orders are ready for delivery.
• Train pharmacists and technicians in unit dose and IV areas; prepare IV medications and chemotherapy per guidelines.
• Process chemotherapy orders; ensure dosages are checked by two pharmacists; use precautions for chemotherapy preparation.
• Serve as a resource for drug information; review patient data and advise on timing to draw serum concentrations; resolve questions professionally.

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy

Pharmacist License in Ohio or license within 3 months of hire
