Job summary

Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) in Orange, California, seeks an experienced operating room nurse with pediatric acute care exposure to join our team. You will deliver family-centered care in a fast-paced surgical setting and collaborate with a multidisciplinary staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

The successful candidate will hold a BSN and California RN licensure, plus ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications; CCRN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Registered Nursing; BSN required within two years of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Basic Life Support (BLS); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Registered Nurse - California (RN) licensure.
• Knowledge of family-centered patient care, cultural and spiritual needs.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and complete duties.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing workloads.

Responsibilities
