We are looking for a skilled and caring full-time Optometrist to join our busy private pediatric ophthalmology practice. In this role, you will work collaboratively with pediatric ophthalmologists to deliver comprehensive, non-surgical eye care to infants, children, and adolescents. You’ll be an integral part of a close-knit team, providing high-quality vision care in a warm, family-friendly environment.
We have three locations across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex – this position will be in our Plano office.

Our passionate team of Pediatric Ophthalmologists and Optometrists is dedicated to improving and preserving vision through advanced treatments, early intervention, and a commitment to the well-being of every child. We work closely with families to create a supportive environment that empowers both children and parents in navigating the path to healthier vision.
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
·Conduct pediatric eye exams and vision assessments, including refractions and binocular vision testing
·Diagnose and manage refractive errors, amblyopia, and other non-surgical visual conditions
·Prescribe glasses and contact lenses tailored to children and teens
·Collaborate with pediatric ophthalmologists on shared care cases and co-management of patients
·Support pre-operative evaluations and post-operative follow-up when needed
·Educate patients and their families about eye health, treatment options, and vision development
·Maintain accurate and thorough documentation using the practice’s EMR system
·Foster a welcoming and positive environment for children and their caregivers
Required Qualifications:
·Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
·Pediatric Optometry experience is a plus by not required
·Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with young patients
·Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to patient care
·Comfortable working in a fast-paced private practice environment
