Job summary

All Star Healthcare Solutions seeks a Board Certified Pediatric Ophthalmologist to provide locum tenens inpatient NICU coverage in Texas. The role is 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, December 2026, with roughly 48 hours total and no call.

You will perform ROP screenings, cover NICU patients, and participate in inpatient rounds, collaborating with NICU nursing and neonatal care teams. Cerner EMR is used in this setting.

Qualifications

• Board-certified ophthalmologist with pediatric focus.
• Active Texas medical license required.
• Fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology preferred.
• ROP screening experience preferred.
• Experience in NICU/inpatient ophthalmology preferred.

Responsibilities
