Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing seeks a Pediatric Ophthalmologist to perform ROP screening in NICU settings across three hospital campuses in El Paso, TX. The clinician will conduct comprehensive newborn exams and collaborate with NICU teams to coordinate care.

Requirements include MD degree, Texas license, and BC board certification; fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology is preferred. This is a temporary locum position with Dec 1, 2026 to Jan 1, 2027 coverage.

Qualifications

• MD degree required with Texas medical license.
• Board-certified in ophthalmology (BC).
• Fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology preferred.
• Experience in NICU settings and intra-hospital coordination.

Responsibilities

• Perform ROP screening in NICU across three hospital campuses.
• Conduct comprehensive pediatric ophthalmology examinations on newborns.
• Collaborate with NICU staff to coordinate patient care.
