Akron Children's in Rocky River, OH is opening a Pediatric Ophthalmologist position for Fall 2027. Join a team of pediatric-trained clinicians delivering comprehensive vision care to children, from routine exams to complex diseases, in a new freestanding facility on Cleveland's Westside.

The role requires ABO board eligibility/certification, pediatric ophthalmology fellowship, and Ohio medical license eligibility.

Qualifications

• Board eligibility or certification by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
• Fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology.
• Ability to obtain an active Ohio medical license.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive vision care to children, from routine eye exams to treatment of complex pediatric eye diseases.
• Work with a team of pediatric-trained clinicians in a new Rocky River facility opening Fall 2027.
• Contribute to a patient-centered, collaborative care model with a strong emphasis on family engagement.
