Akron Children's Hospital in Rocky River, OH seeks a Pediatric Ophthalmologist to join a developing, community-focused program opening Fall 2027. You will care for children from routine exams to complex diseases within a collaborative, child-centered team.

Board eligibility/certification by the American Board of Ophthalmology, pediatric ophthalmology fellowship, and Ohio medical licensure are required or planned; a supportive environment and generous benefits accompany a strong recruitment

Qualifications

• Board eligibility or certification by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
• Fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology.
• Ability to obtain an active medical license in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive vision care to children, from routine exams to complex conditions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality pediatric ophthalmology services.
• Contribute to a community-focused program within a new Rocky River facility.

Pediatric Ophthalmologist in Rocky River, OH - Opening Fall, 2027!

• Team will provide comprehensive, compassionate vision care to children whose needs range from general eye exams to treatment of the most complex childhood eye diseases and disorders
• Requirements include board eligibility/certification by the American Board of Ophthalmology, fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology and the ability to obtain an active medical license in the state of Ohio.
