Job summary

Kaiser Permanente’s Northwest Permanente division in Portland, OR is seeking a Board Certified or Eligible Ophthalmologist with fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology. The role blends pediatric care with some adult strabismus, with a potential half-day weekly surgery block and NICU ROP rounding at Kaiser Sunnyside.

You will work with a supportive team and access to a physician-friendly Epic EMR, with options for 1.0 or 0.9 FTE and possible part-time schedules.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or eligible in Ophthalmology.
• Fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology.
• Experience with pediatric patients and adult strabismus preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary Pediatric Ophthalmologist for the practice.
• Possible 1/2-day surgery block on Tuesday mornings.
• Rounding for Retinopathy of Prematurity in NICU once per week.
• Collaborate with Optometry for pediatric patients.
