Job summary

Boston Children's Hospital seeks new graduate or early-career Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) to join the APP Clinical Immersion Program in Hematology/Oncology and Stem Cell Transplant (SCT). The 12-month program begins with a 4-month Boot Camp to build foundational clinical knowledge for inpatient APP practice, followed by 8 months of supported staffing with day/night rotations and weekend coverage.

Anticipated start date is March 2027.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (PNP or FNP) or Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
• 2–3 years of nursing or clinical experience in Pediatric or Adult Oncology, SCT, ICU or ED preferred; new grads welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Join inpatient team to care for pediatric oncology/SCT patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for family-centered care and clinical oversight.
• Occasional procedures overseen by Attending Physician.
• 36 hours, 50% rotating day/night, equivalent of every 3rd weekend.
