Job summary

Banner Health in Mesa, Arizona, is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Pediatric Outpatient Treatment Center. You will care for pediatric patients from infancy to young adulthood with diagnoses including cancer and blood disorders, administering infusions and anesthesia-related care as needed.

The role requires prior pediatric RN experience, BLS certification, and flexibility for day shifts, some weekends, and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Must possess current RN license in the state of practice and BLS certification.
• Pediatric nursing experience in an acute or outpatient setting is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; professional certification may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for pediatric patients.
• Administer infusions, therapies, and anesthesia-related care per physician orders.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive pediatric care.
• Document care provided and patient responses in medical records.
• May float to support other inpatient floors as needed and contribute to patient safety.
