Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing required.
• RN licensure in Texas required.
• ACLS certification required; PALS required for certain pediatric units.

Aufgaben

• Manages patient outcomes by providing, coordinating and supporting clinical aspects of direct patient care across the continuum of care.
• Accountable for the management and provision of patient care in assigned area.
• Assesses patient's needs for nursing care and multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborates with physicians, other services, patient and family to plan care and evaluate outcomes.
• Implements evidence-based practice and participates in data collection for current studies.
• Documents care per established standards and ensures continuity of care through discharge planning.

Ausbildung

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing
