Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to deliver comprehensive care to children and their families in inpatient or ambulatory settings. You will assess, diagnose, and manage treatments under physician supervision, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or bachelor's degree in medical science.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in GA or Multi-State via the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact and APRN licensure in GA OR licensure as a Physician Assistant in GA.
• Certification as APRN by ANCC/AANP/PNCB/NCCPA (Family Nurse Practitioner optional with CNO approval).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification on hire
• PALS certification within 60 days for specified roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care management within a collaborative practice model for children of all ages under supervision.
• Perform histories and physical exams and identify normal/abnormal findings.
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Develop pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical treatment plans.
• Serve as educational resource for patients, families, and staff.
• Facilitate patient referrals to other providers and services.
