This is an outstanding opportunity to join a collegial academic environment at Primary Children's Hospital (PCH) and the University of Utah with a top-ranked childhood blood disorder and cancer program. The Division of Pediatric Hematology Oncology, in the Department of Pediatrics, University of Utah School of Medicine, has an immediate opening for a board-certified Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist to join the Pediatric Leukemia/Lymphoma Program.
The Pediatric Oncologist will provide clinical care to patients with cancer and blood disorders, focusing on leukemias/lymphomas, and engage in multidisciplinary clinics. Clinical activities will be at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT, and the upcoming Miller Campus in Lehi, UT. Besides clinical work, there are academic responsibilities including education, research, administration, and advocacy.
The division comprises over 25 pediatric oncologists, including specialists in BMT and PhD investigators. The program is involved in cutting-edge research, active in national consortiums, and performs over 50 transplants annually, with a comprehensive inpatient and outpatient setup.
Candidates must be Board Certified/Qualified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology-Oncology, with a focus on leukemia and lymphoma. A research focus in pediatric leukemia/lymphoma is preferred. The appointment will be at an academic level appropriate to experience, with a competitive salary and benefits, including immediate vesting of non-contributory retirement contributions.
