Whether you’re early in your career or a seasoned specialist, you’ll find opportunities to expand your skills, pursue leadership roles, participate in research and help shape the future of pediatric health care.

If you’re ready to make a difference in a collaborative, child-centered environment, we can’t wait to meet you!

Join a nationally recognized and rapidly expanding Pediatric Hematology/Oncology program that has evolved from a traditional pediatric oncology practice into a comprehensive tertiary referral center. This is an exceptional opportunity for a physician seeking to practice across the full spectrum of pediatric hematology and oncology while contributing to innovative clinical care, research, and program development.

Our multidisciplinary service provides comprehensive care through specialized programs in:

  • Pediatric Oncology
  • Pediatric Neuro-Oncology
  • Bone Marrow Transplant & Cellular Therapy
  • Gene Therapy
  • CAR-T Therapy
  • Oncofertility
  • Cancer Survivorship
  • Rare Tumor Programs
  • Precision Medicine
  • Clinical Research
  • Adolescent & Young Adult (AYA) Oncology

The program currently cares for:

  • Approximately 100 new pediatric cancer diagnoses annually
  • More than 150 patients actively receiving chemotherapy or immunotherapy
  • Participation in 44 Children's Oncology Group (COG) clinical trials

As the program continues to expand, strategic institutional priorities include advancing CAR-T and gene therapies, precision oncology, survivorship, fertility preservation, multidisciplinary comprehensive clinics, and continued growth of the AYA oncology program.

The breadth and complexity of our clinical services have grown substantially, creating an outstanding opportunity for an additional physician to join our team. You will become part of a collaborative, academically focused environment dedicated to delivering state-of-the-art care while helping shape the next phase of program growth.

This position offers the opportunity to:

  • Care for a diverse and complex pediatric hematology/oncology patient population.
  • Participate in innovative clinical trials and translational research.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary specialists across multiple subspecialty programs.
  • Contribute to the continued expansion of cellular therapies, precision medicine, survivorship, and comprehensive cancer care.
  • Help build the future of one of the region’s premier pediatric oncology programs.

We are seeking a physician who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care, advancing clinical innovation, and contributing to the continued growth of a comprehensive pediatric cancer program.

Required Qualifications
  • MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree.
  • Board eligible or board certified in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in Ohio.
  • Eligibility for academic appointment at Northeast Ohio Medical University.
