Responsibilities

• Review each child’s medical and developmental history, including sensory, motor, and functional needs.
• Evaluate children through play-based observation and standardized assessments to assess fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, feeding, and participation challenges.
• Develop individualized, child-centered treatment plans that support functional independence at home, school, and in the community.
• Use therapeutic activities, sensory integration strategies, adaptive equipment, and hands-on techniques to improve engagement, coordination, and daily living skills.
• Educate and coach parents and caregivers on strategies to carry over skills and support development outside of therapy.
