Job summary

The SPEAK Center for Language and Learning in Arizona is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary pediatric therapy team. This role supports children in home health or clinic settings, focusing on fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and functional independence.

Earn a flexible, full caseload that is ready to go with W-2 or 1099 options, sign-on bonus, and generous scheduling.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid Arizona OT license.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• CPR, First Aid, and Article 9 training, or willingness to complete required training.
• Professional liability insurance, as applicable.
• Pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to assess motor skills, sensory processing, functional abilities, self-care skills, and developmental needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's strengths, needs, and family goals.
• Provide direct therapy services using evidence-based strategies and adaptive equipment.
• Support children in improving fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care tasks, play, coordination, and daily routines.
• Educate and coach families and caregivers on strategies to support progress at home and in the community.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Complete documentation and progress reports accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with families and the multidisciplinary team to support each child's care plan.
• Participate in meetings and trainings; maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.
