Job summary

Creative Speech Solutions, LLC in Summit, NJ is seeking part-time experienced Occupational Therapists to join our growing pediatric therapy team. You will provide evaluations and direct therapy for children in a school-based setting, with one-on-one and small group sessions addressing Autism, ADHD, sensory processing, motor planning and other developmental needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in OT from an accredited program.
• Certification by NBCOT and maintenance of registration.
• NJ state license and BOE school certificate required.
• Minimum two years of pediatric private practice and/or school setting experience.
• Experience with sensory processing disorders, motor planning, gross and fine motor skills.
• CE in Listening Program, Handwriting Without Tears, Visual Processing, splints recommended.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills; team player.
• Patience and ability to work independently within a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluations and direct therapy for pediatric population in a school-based setting.
• Deliver one‑on‑one and small group sessions with children.
• Write daily notes and progress notes; prepare evaluations and reports.
• Collaborate on IEP development; ensure NJ state special education compliance.
• Create home exercise programs; counsel caretakers.
• Coordinate with speech therapists, school therapists and teachers.
