Job summary

Creative Speech Solutions, LLC, a pediatric therapy center in Summit, NJ, is seeking part-time Occupational Therapists to join our growing team and treat after school hours. You will provide evaluations and direct therapy for the pediatric population in a clinic-based setting, with one-on-one sessions.

The role involves writing notes, progress reports, evaluations, and collaboration with speech therapists, school therapists, and teachers.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
NBCOT certification and maintenance of registration.
NJ State License and NJ BOE School Certificate.
Minimum of two years of pediatric experience preferred.
Experience with sensory processing disorders, motor planning, strength, gross/fine motor skills.
Certification or CE in The Listening Program, Handwriting Without Tears, Visual Processing disorders, splints.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; passion for working with children with developmental disabilities.
Patience, persistence, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Provide evaluations and direct therapy for pediatric clients in a clinic setting.
Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions with children.
Write daily notes, progress notes, evaluations, and reports; collaborate with care providers.
Create home exercise programs and counsel caretakers.
Collaborate with speech therapists, school therapists, and teachers.
