Job summary

The School District of Lee County in Florida is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide assessment, diagnostic, therapeutic, and instructional support for students to meet IEP requirements and regulatory standards. The role involves collaborating with educators, families, and peers to support student outcomes.

Successful candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, a valid Florida OT license, and current First Aid/CPR/AED certifications, with preferred pediatric school

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
One year of pediatric experience, preferably in a school setting.
Valid Florida license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
Valid Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED certificates.

Responsibilities

Provide assessment, diagnostic, therapeutic and instructional support for students to meet IEP requirements.
Apply knowledge of federal, state and local laws as they pertain to Occupational Therapy and related regulations.
Work with Multidisciplinary teams to support student needs.
