RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Per Diem Occupational Therapist for Children's Specialized Hospital in Mountainside, NJ. The role focuses on pediatric evaluation, treatment, and family-centered care within an interdisciplinary team.

This is a day shift with per diem availability and weekend coverage as needed. The OT will deliver individualized therapeutic interventions, participate in discharge planning, and collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and caregivers to maximize functional

Qualificações

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current New Jersey OT license and valid driver’s license.
• NBCOT certification and maintenance of registration.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Provider Certification.
• Pediatric affiliation or pediatric OT experience (minimum 12 weeks).
• Per diem schedule including evenings and occasional weekends for inpatient services.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluating pediatric patients with disabilities and functional limitations.
• Selecting, administering, and interpreting appropriate assessment tools.
• Developing individualized treatment plans based on diagnosis and environment.
• Providing therapeutic interventions to improve function and independence.
• Collaborating with families and the interdisciplinary team.
• Participating in discharge planning and community transition planning.
