Job summary

CentraCare is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist for our Clara’s House Partial Hospitalization Program at St. Cloud Hospital.

You will provide outpatient OT services to preschool through adolescence, tailoring groups to developmental levels and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. You will evaluate needs, set goals, and deliver individualized and group interventions, developing specialized programs based on evidence-informed techniques and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy and successful completion of clinical training required.
• Prior experience must provide clear evidence of clinical skills beyond basic entry level for the position in which the applicant is applying for.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Occupational Therapist Certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Licensed Occupational Therapist Registered through the State of Minnesota as a Licensed Occupational Therapist required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient needs and establish treatment goals; provide individualized and group-based interventions.
• Facilitate occupational therapy groups across a range of ages and developmental levels.
• Develop and facilitate specialized treatment programs based on patient needs using current evidence-informed techniques.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to tailor interventions and support progress.
