Job summary

Family of Kidz in New York is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team. This role offers flexibility as Part-Time, Fee-for-Service, or potential Full-Time, with compensation at $90/hour.

You will design and implement therapeutic interventions for children, perform evaluations, and collaborate with supervisors and school partners. Ideal candidates hold a NY State OT license, are passionate about helping children and families, and can manage schedules, documentation, and progress

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited university with a degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current New York State Occupational Therapy License.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Passionate to work with children and families.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
  • Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
  • Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management.
  • Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals
  • Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
  • Create and maintain schedules with assigned individual families/school personnel.
  • Collects data on each IFSP/IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
  • Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.

Please note this is a range. Rates are determined by the service provided, professional experience and license/certifications held. In addition the position posted may be either full-time or fee-for-service (FFS), depending on the current caseload which will be discussed during the interview. This arrangement can vary and is subject to change.
