Therapeds Works, an H2 Health Company, seeks a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) for a part-time role in Salado, TX. You will provide play-based therapy and build strong relationships with children and families in a supportive, team-driven environment.

The role focuses on autism and developmental delays, improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, ADLs, and self-regulation through evidence-based pediatric OT. Collaboration with SLPs, PTs, and families promotes carryover and progress.

Qualifications

• ACOTE-accredited OT program is required.
• Active state OT license or licensure eligibility.
• Experience working with autism and developmental delays preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized OT to children with developmental and sensory needs.
• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans focused on fine motor, sensory processing, ADLs, visual-motor skills, and self-regulation.
• Document care accurately in Raintree EMR.
• Collaborate with families to promote carryover and skill generalization.
• Work with SLPs, PTs, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Support clinical learning and peer collaboration.

Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) | Part-Time | 213 Mill Creek Drive Suite 105A Salado, TX 76571

At Therapeds Works, an H2 Health Company, we believe great care begins with great clinicians. As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT), you will provide meaningful, play-based therapy while building strong relationships with children and families in a supportive, team-driven environment.

Our clinicians primarily serve children with autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, global developmental delay, sensory processing differences, neurological conditions, and genetic disorders. We focus on helping children improve fine motor skills, sensory regulation, visual-motor integration, self-care skills, emotional regulation, and overall independence through individualized, evidence-based pediatric occupational therapy.

Your Role

• Deliver individualized, evidence-based occupational therapy to children with developmental and sensory needs
• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans focused on fine motor development, sensory processing, ADLs, visual-motor skills, and self-regulation
  Implement play-based and sensory-integrative interventions to promote engagement and progress
• Document care accurately in Raintree EMR
• Partner closely with families and caregivers to promote carryover and skill generalization
• Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, and interdisciplinary team members
• Contribute to a culture of clinical learning and peer support

Requirements

• Degree from an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Active state Occupational Therapy license or eligibility for licensure
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical reasoning skills
• Experience working with children with autism and developmental delays preferred
• Commitment to compassionate, family-centered care
• Compensation ranging from $45.00- $47.00 per visit
