Job summary

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s in OT, a Florida license in good standing, and bring strong assessment skills. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. A Level II background check and Medicaid number are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Florida State License in good standing is required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Strong assessment and diagnostic skills are required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and families.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children with autism and/or developmental delays is preferred.
• Level II background screening is required.
• Medicaid number is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate pediatric clients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services focused on improving functional skills and independence.
• Support development in areas such as sensory regulation, motor coordination, and ADLs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary therapy team to support holistic care plans.
• Provide guidance and education to parents and caregivers.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Contribute clinical expertise to support team collaboration and program development.
