Job summary

NorthTexas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a pediatric occupational therapist to join our therapist-owned team. Provide services in the home or daytime facility for children aged 0-21, delivering individualized therapy based on physician orders.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, assess and document progress, educate families, and help patients reach their highest potential through targeted activities and adaptive strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Current Texas state OT license.
• Experience in pediatrics required.
• Clinical/Practicum hours completed.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT services in the home or daytime facility for patients aged 0–21, 2+ times per week, in accordance with physician orders.
• Define patient’s degree and type of physical, fine motor, and sensory impairments using testing instruments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan goals and educate the team in OT modalities.
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of occupational therapy interventions.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients with training materials and resources.
• May provide supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.
