Job summary

North Texas Therapy is seeking a licensed occupational therapist to provide pediatric home health services for clients aged 0-21 in Texas. You will assess, plan, and implement OT interventions, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, educate families, and document progress in accordance with physician orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Current Texas state license.
• Experience in pediatrics required.
• Clinical/Practicum hours completed.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services in the home or daytime facility for patients 0-21 years old, 2+ times per week, per physician orders.
• Define patient's degree and type of impairment using appropriate testing instruments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate goals and advise on OT modalities.
• Plan for and modify care to meet OT intervention goals.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients with training materials and in-service programs; supervise CNTs as needed.
