Job summary

Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist for a divisional float role. The position covers all locations in need of clinical care support, with assignments that may include outpatient, inpatient, and psychiatry settings.

The role requires a Master’s or doctoral degree in occupational therapy, NBCOT certification, and an Ohio license. A weekend differential is added to the base pay, and Saturdays are required for new employees.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial evaluation and develop an individualized treatment plan.
• Deliver patient care across outpatient, inpatient, and psychiatry settings.
• Provide coverage for locations in need of OT support; assignments may change based on need.
• Collaborate with therapists and other professionals to address each child’s goals.
• Assist in adapting home and school environments to support function.
• Incorporate activities of daily living, cognition, and perceptual skills into therapy.
• Utilize interventions for fine motor, oral motor, and feeding skills as needed.
• Incorporate aquatic therapy where appropriate and safe.
• Educate families on home exercise programs and equipment use.
