Job summary

Achieve Beyond Pediatric Therapy & Autism Services in Brooklyn, NY is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide pediatric therapy and evaluations in homes, clinics, and community settings. You will educate families on intervention strategies and tailor plans to meet each child’s goals, while maintaining comprehensive records and collaborating with a supportive clinical team.

Qualifications

• Must be NYS Licensed Occupational Therapist.
• 1-2 years of experience with children birth–5 preferred but not required.
• Passion for working with children and families.
• Self-motivated and a team player.
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric therapy services and/or evaluations to children aged birth–21 years in natural settings.
• Educate families/caregivers on intervention strategies to facilitate involvement and carry-over.
• Work in diverse settings such as client homes, daycare centers, preschools, clinics, and community settings.
• Follow the therapy plan, plan ongoing treatment, and document progress.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain confidential records per HIPAA and regulations.
