Job summary

Language Essentials Speech & Occupational Therapy in San Ramon, CA seeks a pediatric Occupational Therapist for a flexible part-time role. You will evaluate, plan, and deliver engaging therapy to children, collaborating closely with families and SLPs to support development and daily functioning.

We value creativity, teamwork, and ongoing learning. California license and 2+ years of pediatric OT experience are required; feeding therapy experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must hold a California Occupational Therapist license.
• Degree from accredited OT program.
• At least two years of pediatric OT experience.
• Ability to independently evaluate and develop treatment plans.
• Strong communication with families and team.
• Creative and fun approach to therapy.
• Organized and dependable.
• Experience in pediatric feeding therapy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pediatric OT evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Create engaging, play-based therapy sessions that help children build meaningful everyday skills.
• Support children with sensory processing, motor coordination, self-care, play, and self-regulation.
• Work closely with families to celebrate progress and help children carry new skills into daily routines.
• Collaborate with SLP team and other professionals to provide coordinated care.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation.
• Share ideas to continue building our OT program.
• Provide pediatric feeding intervention when appropriate to your training and experience.
