The Children's Institute of Pittsburgh is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our pediatric team at our Pittsburgh location. The Staff Therapist will evaluate children, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize care.

Flexibility in schedule is available, with emphasis on pediatric care, documentation, and family education. Licensure, NBCOT, and pediatric experience are preferred to provide high-quality care to our diverse patient

Competenze

• BS/MS/MOT/OTD from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in Pennsylvania.
• Must be registered with NBCOT.
• Pediatric experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Evaluates patient’s functional abilities and identifies impairments using objective tests.
• Identifies measurable functional goals and develops a treatment plan with patient/family.
• Implements plan of care and adjusts goals as needed.
• Uses objective data to assess frequency and duration of care for effectiveness.
• Prepares discharge plans and initiates discharge when appropriate.
• Assesses need for assistive technology for patient and family.
