Job summary

KidsCare Home Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide pediatric home health therapy, assessing and treating children in their homes. The role emphasizes high-quality clinical care, family training, and ongoing collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy, an active state license, CPR certification, and a valid driver license.

Qualifications

• Must have OT degree and state license.
• CPR certification required; valid driver license.
• Ped pediatrics/home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine, evaluate, and administer pediatric treatments.
• Provide clinical treatments, screenings, and family training.
• Coordinate care with office staff and other disciplines.
• Maintain communication with patient and family about progress and home programs.
• Refer patients to appropriate services and resources.
• Consult with physicians on progress and maintain records.
• Maintain supplies and equipment.
• Participate in education and QAPI activities.
• Attend continuing education and maintain caseload productivity.
• Mentor students and new hires; collaborate with teams.
